About Gram Negative Illness:  A Gram Negative Illness is a bacterial infection caused by a gram-negative bacteria. GramNegative illnesses include those due to Klebsiella, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and E. coli., in addition to a number of other bacteria that are less common. GramNegative bacteria are resistant to multiple drugs and so therefore are resistant to antibiotics.
